Kelsey & Camille Grammer

Kelsey Grammer, star of the sitcom "Frasier," and his wife, Camille, have sold a 7,600-square-foot house in the Bel-Air area of Los Angeles for $3.3 million, slightly less than the actor paid for it in 2007.

The recently remodeled home is on 1.5 acres and has canyon and city views.

The buyer was described as a Mexican real estate developer,


The Grammers have bought, sold and leased several homes in the past few years. The couple still owns several homes on the Westside.

Mauricio Umansky of Hilton & Hyland/Christie's Great Estates in Beverly Hills had the listing. Alejandro Aldrete, of the same firm, represented the buyer of the Bel-Air residence.

I.M. Pei, the renowned architect probably best known for his pyramid addition to the Louvre in Paris, has designed only a few private homes, and this is one of them.

Priced at $2.95 million, it is about 30% less this year than its owners were asking a year ago.

Pei is also known for his work on the East Wing of the National Gallery in Washington.

This home, in the Cleveland Park area of Washington, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 2,500 square feet. The Modernist-style home also has a signature, poured-in-place concrete roof.

The home was built in 1960 for the late William L Slayton, who served as commissioner of urban renewal in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.

Slayton's family sold the home in 2000 for $850,000.

Working with architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, the owners spent six years and more than $1 million restoring the house, using Slayton's diary as a guide and adding a pool. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Jewel Kilcher

Singer-songwriter Jewel Kilcher and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray, have sold their Hollywood Hills home for $1.4 million.

The home, Spanish in style, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,781 square feet. A third bedroom was turned into a closet in the restored 1938 house. The house also has an updated kitchen, an office and an attached, three-car garage as well as canyon and city views.

Ty Murray

Kilcher, 34, has sold millions of albums and has been nominated for numerous Grammy awards. She released her first independent album, "Lullaby," in May.

Murray and Kilcher appeared recently on "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC, but the pair make their home in Stephenville, Texas, where they have a ranch.

Jordan Cohen of ReMax Olson & Associates, Westlake Village, has the listing, and Jackie Winter of Sotheby's International Realty in Los Feliz represented the buyer, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Khandi Alexander

Actress Khandi Alexander of "CSI: Miami," has sold her Sunset Strip-area home for $2.75 million. The house was listed most recently for about six months.

The house has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 4,100 square feet, a Mediterranean in style; it has five fireplaces and a lap pool.

Alexander, 51, has played medical examiner Alexx Woods since 2002 and is leaving the show at the end of this season.

Alex Brunkhorst of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills, represented the seller, and Corinne Allemand, of the same office, represented the buyer, the Multiple Listing Service said.

More recently, it has been the home of sitcom writer-director and producer David Lee.

The remodeled home, in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood, sits on 1.3 acres of land and has six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms in 7,000 square feet.

Built in 1963, it was designed by architect Donald Wexler for the singer and TV hostess.

Lee wrote for "The Jeffersons" and "Cheers." He also worked on "Frasier."

The home is listed with Tyler Morgan, Todd Monaghan and Keith Markovitz of Pacific Union/Christie's Great Estates, Palm Springs.
