Actor Val Kilmer says he is no longer looking to sell parts of his 6,000-acre ranch in New Mexico. Now the star of "Batman Forever,""The Saint," "Tombstone" and other films is seeking a buyer for the whole enchilada, and its asking price is $33 million.

Why the change? It was not due to a dearth in fine restaurants, boutiques or hotels. Santa Fe is only 25 miles away, and though much of Kilmer's ranch is wild with canyons and pine forests, nearly six miles of the Pecos River run through the property, and fishing there for trout is popular. The fishery and wildlife habitat adjoin the Santa Fe National Forest.

For those who don't camp, there is a log house on the ranch that has four bedrooms in 5,600 square feet. There are also two guest houses on the property.

Kilmer, 49, announced in February that he may run for New Mexico governor next year. He put the ranch on the market, he said, so "someone who has the time and finances" can maintain the property.

Kilmer spent the past 13 years assembling the ranch and living there with family and friends. In 2006, he listed 1,800 acres for $18 million. Earlier this year, he offered the houses on a thousand-acre parcel for $9 million. The same houses were listed at $12 million a few months earlier.

Justin Berfield, the bad-boy brother in "Malcolm in the Middle," has put his Calabasas home on the market at slightly below $4 million.

Berfield, 23, bought the house for about $3.75 million in 2006 from MTV "Newlyweds"Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.

Now Berfield is selling the Calabasas home and plans to move to Malibu to be closer to his work in Venice-based film and TV companies he formed in 2004.

His Mediterranean-style home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in 6,500 square feet. It is in a gated community and has its own gated driveway.

The home also has a home theater, an infinity pool and spa, a wine cellar, and a bar with indoor-outdoor access. One room was formerly used as a recording studio.

Berfield co-starred on the Fox show, playing Reese from 2000 to 2006.

Dinah Shore slept here.

It is a home in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs, and its asking price is $6 million.

The singer-talk show host had Donald Wexler design the house in 1963; the year Shore stopped hosting "The Dinah Shore Chevy Show."

Wexler also designed the Palm Springs International Airport.

Wexler designed Shore's home in the modernist style with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a fireplace, pool and spa.

The 7,000-square-foot house is on 1.3 acres of the desert town.

The current owner -- a TV writer -- restored and re-landscaped the home.

Actor Cary Grant's desert home for 20 years, starting in 1952, is listed for $5 million.

The 1920's estate, in Palm Springs, has six bedrooms and a pool. His home was known as "Las Palomas."

Golf champion Fred Couples, 49, has moved to the desert and put his Montecito home, with its putting green in the backyard, on the market at $12.5 million.

The 11,000-square-foot, Monterey Colonial, built in 1939 on five acres with ocean and mountain views also has nine bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, and a 2,300-square-foot guesthouse with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen.

There is an arched front entry, a formal study with French doors, a tennis court, a pool and a rose garden.

But no putting green? The 15-time PGA Tour winner may want to think about that.

In the meantime, this calls for a Diane Keaton alert: What kind of house did Couples put on the market? A Monterey Colonial? It's one of the actress' favorites to restore and sell again.
