Orlando Magic Star Dwight Howard Buys $8M Lakefront Home
(ORLANDO, FL) - Dwight Howard, the six-foot-eleven, 265-pound center of the Orlando Magic has purchased an $8 million, lakefront residence at Lake Club in Seminole County.
Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of Stirling Sotheby's International Realty, announced the sale Tuesday night. Soderstrom's firm negotiated the deal. The house is off Markham Woods Road in suburban Longwood, FL.

Stirling Sotheby's Chocky Burks, director of new home sales, represented the seller, Hillcrest Homes. Soderstrom said the five-bedroom, 11,000-sf property "captured all of the awards" in this year's Street of Dreams luxury home competition in Orlando.
The European estate-styled residence sits on three lakefront acres, has five full baths, two half baths, a game and billiards room, a family room with a 25-foot stone fireplace, a home theater, art gallery, two guest suites, an office and a large four-car garage. The pool has a lazy river system, island seating and three beach areas.
The 23-year-old Howard, whose uniform number is 12, was the Magic's first-round pick in the 2004 National Basketball Association draft.
